Digital and Darkroom Photography
July 31-August 11
From digital to black and white! Develop a holisitic approach to producing stunning photos both on the computer and in the darkroom.
Students will split their time learning the fundamental and advanced techniques of darkroom and digital photography. Lessons in darkroom photography consist of elements of a good black and white photograph, metering/exposure of a 35mm film camera, and developing your own film and prints. Lessons in digital photography consist of manipulation of DSLR camera settings, editing on Adobe software, and image processing. The Academy will end in a final exhibition for family and friends (more details to be shared).
Supplies included in registration cost. We recommend students provide their own cameras, but have a limited quantity available for check out. Please email email@example.com to inquire about loaning out our cameras.
