Fandom is, as much as any industry to which a particular fandom genuflects, a reflection of singular desire, multiplied across many shareholder meetings, made into the image of a place of people gathered, where one might finally belong. I’m Your Biggest Fan is a group exhibition that considers the histories and current conditions of various fandoms online and otherwise and the anonymity of commentary around these digital spaces (and how this spills into the real world). The exhibition addresses a range of fandoms, from pop-star to political and everything in between.
This exhibition is presented by the Beall Center for Art + Technology and CTSA Department of Art with generous support from The Beall Family Foundation.
