A concert of short symphonic surprises to start your Halloween!
Under the direction of Geoffrey Pope, UCI Symphony Orchestra Express presents one-hour programs in unique venues that bring audiences closer to the music. With a diverse range of composers and artists, the series offers an intimate and engaging concert experience.
Program
• Wagner — Overture to The Flying Dutchman
• Tchaikovsky — Rococo Variations (ft. Kristina Tu, cello, and Hitesh Benny, assistant conductor)
• Byron Atterton — Two Scenes from “Nosferatu" (orchestra with 1922 film projection)
• Mussorgsky — Night on Bald Mountain
