Celebrate the holidays with classical hymns in Winter Night

The UC Irvine Chamber Singers release their first holiday EP, Winter Night, on Friday, November 29, 2024. Produced by Signum Records, the musical collection features four songs with an available single, Gabriel’s Message, featuring Jim Clements’ arrangement with soprano soloist Andrea Zomorodian.

"I am endlessly proud of my singers for bringing their hearts and voices together in this new holiday release, a celebration of unity, warmth, and the timeless spirit of song," shared Dr. Irene Messoloras, Director of the UC Irvine Chamber Singers and professor in the Department of Music.

Winter Night brings together a mix of beloved holiday classics and fresh, creative choral arrangements that embody the warmth and joy of the season. Featured composers include Sir John Rutter (Wexford Carol), Cecelia McDowall (Now May We Singen) and Ola Gjeilo (The First Nowell).

Stream Winter Night is available to stream at here.
